Looks- New Year's Eyes

Hello Lovelies!!!

Today I did this look for New Year's. New Year looks are always great and fun to do. You can do so many different looks...they can be shimmery, glittery, smokey, etc. all of them look greatttttt ^_^

So this is my version of the new year's look...

Products used:

• Eyeshadow base in white
• Shimmery eyeshadow pallette

NOTD - Rose Sage

Hello Everyone!!!

So today's NOTD is featuring Rose sage by Wet n Wild. Love the color :)

Looks pretty on its own ^_^
I used single coat of Aziza nail builder as a base coat (i don't have a base coat so i used this as a replacement ^_^)
Then 2 coats of Rose Sage by Wet n Wild....

Nail polish didn't chip or came off until the fourth day of me wearing it. On the fourth day, it chip only on my index finger but i decided to take it off. I think it works great considering the fact that i wasn't wearing a top coat :)..... The color was very opaque after 2 coats just like in the bottle.

Review & Swatches - ELF Matte Lip Color

Hello Lovelies,

So today I am doing the review and swatches for the ELF matte lipsticks. I know it’s been a while for those who requested it. The lipsticks are sold for $3 each but you can always use coupon code to save few bucks $$...

According to the company:

“This convenient jumbo sized lip pencil creates exact color application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen. The pigment rich color glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte color. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.”

My thoughts:

I love the packaging. Almost like a marker or jumbo pencil for lips. Easy to apply and very precise. Color payoff is great, very opaque. I got them for $1.50 each, definitely a great bargain!!!$_$ I feel that using lip balm underneath would give a flawless application. Natural lipstick was a bit drying for me so I had to apply lip gloss over it. Others were ok!

Whether I would buy it: Definitely yes!! I love them and would recommend it. ELF added two new shades, so thinking of trying them as well..

1.    I am a bit shy in person ^_^. 

2.    I am a bit quite among strangers or around the people I just met. But with friends and family, I am known to be very talkative.

3.    I love Cheesecakes. As a kid, I would not eat anything sweet except for chocolates (not even cakeJ). Don’t know why?

4.    I am a Procrastinator. Only when it comes to assignments, homework or test L

5.    I love to sew. But I am not an expert at it though.

10.  I don’t like cold weather but I love winter because of holiday season. 

11.  I don’t have any bright colors (top, etc.) in my closet. I recently noticed that I don’t own any yellow, orange shade tops. Black and grey is very prominent.

Look- Holiday eyes

Hello Lovelies!!

I did this holiday look yesterday. I was a bit tired yesterday so could not post it . So here it is.

On to the pictures....

ELF Brigtening Eye Color in Butternut

How I create this look:

• apply primer all over the lid and up to browbone
• apply no. 2 in the tear duct and inner corner of the lower lid
• apply no.4 to rest of the lid and middle section of the lower lid, blend
• apply no.3 to the hollows of the eyelid and to the outer v and outer coner of the lower lid, blend
• apply no.1 to the browbone, blend
• apply cream eyeliner with angled eyeliner brush and also in the water line
• apply coats of mascara (falsies if needed or desired)
• touch up with the eye shadow to enhance the colors, if needed

Haul – Dollar Store Finds

Hello Lovelies!!

I was looking to get tiny elastic bands in black. First, I went to the drug store but they were a bit pricey (I believe $5 or $6) for a pack of the same bands I wanted. So I thought I should try Dollar Store, they probably would have them for a fraction of the cost. Well, I did find those but with other interesting stuff. J

There was a separate aisle for beauty related products. Not much of makeup but other beauty stuff. There were some Elf products too; like powder brushes, eye-shadow brush, mascara, clear mascara, and lip glosses (all from their $1 line). There were other Makeup products by Aziza. A whole lot of jewellery stuff, Shampoo, moisturizing lotion, and etc. So I browse through the aisle and got myself few things.

What I got:

·         Pack of elastic bands

·         Pack of bobby pins

·         One Step Nail builder by Aziza

·         Blistex Regular SPF 15 lip balm

·         And 2 bracelets

Btw, I bought the mascara from the drug store.
